Most of the known Vocaloid providers are singers, professional or not. For example, Gakupo's voicebank came from the popular J-pop singer Gackt, while IA's voice provider was Lia, who sang for the anime Air. However, some Vocaloids, like Miku, Big Al, and Ryuto, had voicebanks that came from voice actors instead of actual singers. March 2, 2012

the only known professional singer on the English Vocaloid side is that of MIRIAM whose voice is from the singer Miriam Stockely who worked with the group Praise.

Big Al's voice actor is Frank S. who is know for his work on doing voice overs for commercials and tutorial movies.
